At long last, I finally worked through my rigorous school and life schedule to fit in ample time for me to work on digital art (and more) in my free-ish time!
This is a huge initiative on my end to continually improve my work, find a steady workflow to produce content, and also to learn a little bit more about the world of livestreaming.
Sylverstone Khandr + Sylver's Edge - The Artstream will be a weekly streaming event - occurring every Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 4pm and 8pm, and every Sunday between the hours of 1pm and 6pm. Eastern Standard Time, I should add.
So far, I have held two successful streams this week, with a drawing being completed. I have not uploaded it as yet to my deviantArt gallery, but it will be ready as soon as I upload the timelapse video to go alongside it. I really hope that you guys will tune in and hang out with me as I work on various pieces of work during my streaming sessions. I'd highly appreciate it. ^_^
How long have you been on DeviantArt? -- 6 years.
What does your username mean? -- It's a portmanteau of Sylver (the 2nd most common misspelling of my last name) with Silverstone (a community near to where I lived in Jamaica). The 14's significance was that I was 14 when I began to call myself Sylverstone.
Describe yourself in three words. -- Creative, reserved, lazy.
Are you left or right handed? -- Right-handed!
What was your first deviation? -- First deviation of sorts was a scanned drawing of an original character.
What is your favourite type of art to create? -- For now, I just love doing digital fanart stuff. Lots of anime influences here and there too.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? -- Pixel art. Always had a fascination with it.
What was your first favourite? -- That would be a drawing of my ponysona by Bill-the-Pony.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? -- Lots of fanart. The stuff that'll really blow me away.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? -- Tough choice... I guess it would be a tie between shepherd0821 and Gashi-gashi. Both of them are fantastic.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? -- Besides the two favorites in #10? Probably mldoxy.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? -- Following mldoxy's streams on Picarto helped me to really get serious about drawing art with my tablet.
What are your preferred tools to create art? -- My drawing tablet, which is a nice little Bamboo Pen (CTL-470), along with PaintTool SAI as my program of choice.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? -- Either my desk in my apartment, or the family desktop.... or even in bed.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? -- kevinsano popping up on my recolor of one of his works, and liking it! It's also my first bit of NSFW content on my gallery.
